Mr. Castle, also known to many by his real name Hector Castillo, has struck gold once again with his latest offering, the “Mr. Castle Blues Band”. The Venezuelan guitar virtuoso’s latest brainchild finds him joining forces with astonishing new vocal talent Katie Ree, who – rest assured – is going places fast, along with the solid, road-hardened rhythm section of Jose Anselmo (bass) and Agustin de la Iglesia (drums) and the harmonica stylings of Shane Meagher, combining with his own guitar mastery – which has earned him the reputation as one of the finest guitar-smiths in Ireland today - to deliver an electrifying live show that proves, once and for all, that the Blues is alive and well in 2024.
